Bio
Robert Bowman is licensed from State of Arkansas as an LPC in July of 2020. Different positions as a Counselor/ Staff Therapist have given me a broad overview of different areas of care as well as varied populations. I received my Masters of Clinical Counseling from John Brown University in May of 2017.
He has experience working with children of all levels of care, from traumatic situations involving Inpatient care Methodist Behavioral Hospital) to daily issues while child still lives at home and attends school (Lakewood Behavioral Associates). Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the primary approach used but other perspectives such as Client-Focused and Motivational Interviewing may be utilized. He works to create connection and understanding involving empathy before embarking in any other directions. Major diagnoses seen but not limited to are anxiety and depression.
Robert was born and raised in Little Rock with some family still there and others in Memphis. Listening carefully requires focused effort but this is the key to understanding and time frames involved can vary significantly from client to client.
