Pam is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 22 years of experience in the mental health field. After proudly serving 4 1/2 years in the US Air Force, she enrolled at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Social Work. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock.
She worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker serving both inpatient and outpatient clients in the community. She started private practice work in 2005 and continues working with teens and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and other life situations. Additionally, she works with chronic mental illnesses such as Major Depression, Bipolar and Schizophrenia. She has years of experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and specializes in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress associated with traumatic memories.
Pam loves riding horses, planting flowers, reading, music, traveling and spending time with her family. She has a little black Shih Tzu named Dougie who is a registered Therapy Dog. Pam says “When you love your job, and you get to take your dog to work, life is Good.”
