Bio

Aubre is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Arkansas and Oklahoma. She earned her Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, with emphasis in play therapy training from John Brown University. She has previously served clients in a variety of clinical settings since 2018, including community mental health school-based, university student counseling, and a private practice women’s clinic. She sees clients with presenting issues such as anxiety, attachment, anger, depression, emotional regulation, grief/loss, life transitions, parenting, relationship issues, and trauma. Aubre has also provided practicum supervision for graduate students seeking their counseling degree.

Aubre’s goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment that fosters growth and offers clients the space to address life’s challenges through open curiosity and exploration. She considers it an honor to join clients on their journey and be a witness to their courageous efforts in seeking change. She uses a client-centered, strengths-based approach to introduce interventions and techniques drawn from a variety of theoretical models that can include Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral theories, Choice Theory, Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy ,and trauma-focused methods. Aubre also enjoys using art, expressive play, and sand tray as therapeutic techniques, in addition to assisting clients with developing healthy choice-making and boundary-setting skills.

Aubre is a native of Northwest Arkansas and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her other interests include reading, gardening, music, spending time outdoors, travel, and engaging in creative projects.
